Alaska High School Football - Juneau-Douglas/Thunder Mountain knocks off Service
September 24, 2022: Juneau, AK 99801 The Juneau-Douglas/Thunder Mountain Huskies football squad scored 49 points and limited the visiting Service Cougars to 32 in the Huskies league win on Saturday.
The Huskies now possess a 8-0 record. They play next when they travel to Bettye Davis East Anchorage for a Cook Inlet battle on Saturday, October 1. Juneau-Douglas/Thunder Mountain will play a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 29-26 league win over Dimond (Anchorage, AK). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 3-4.
Coming up next, the Cougars play the Colony Knights (Palmer, AK) in a Cook Inlet battle, on Friday, September 30. Service will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Knights go into the battle with a 5-2 record after their 38-17 league win over West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK).
