Texas High School Football - Seguin knocks off MacArthur

The Seguin Matadors football squad scored 54 points and limited the host MacArthur Brahmas to 27 in the Matadors league win on Saturday.

The Matadors now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Boerne-Champion for a 5A-1 Region III District 12 battle on Friday, October 7. Seguin will play a Chargers squad coming off a 34-29 league loss to Hays (Buda, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 2-3.

Coming up next, the Brahmas play the Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A-1 Region III District 12 battle, on Thursday, October 6. MacArthur will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 42-0 league win over Lehman (Kyle, TX).
