Massachusetts High School Football - St. John's held off by Central Catholic
September 24, 2022: Lawrence, MA 01841 Central Catholic Raiders (Lawrence, MA) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team nip the visiting St. John's Pioneers (Shrewsbury, MA), 8-6 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Central Catholic improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host Andover (Andover, MA) to battle the Golden Warriors in a test on Friday, September 30. The Golden Warriors come into the test with a record of 2-1. Andover won 14-0 in their recent league test against Lawrence (Lawrence, MA)
With the loss, St. John's drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI) to battle the Hawks in a non-league test on Monday, October 3. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 2-1. Bishop Hendricken lost 28-14 in their recent non-league test against North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI)
