Georgia High School Softball - Jones County topped by West Laurens
September 24, 2022: Dexter, GA 31019 In Saturday's non-league contest, the West Laurens Raiders (Dexter, GA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA), by a margin of 10-2.
With the triumph, West Laurens moves its record to 15-3 on the year. The Raiders host Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA) to play the Braves in a 4A Region 2 contest on Tuesday, September 27. The Braves come into the contest with a record of 8-9. Baldwin lost 8-1 in their recent league contest against Griffin (Griffin, GA)
In their next game, the Greyhounds play the Warner Robins Demons (Warner Robins, GA) in a 5A Region 2 contest, on Monday, September 26. Jones County will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record.
