Baxter Springs Lions (Baxter Springs, KS) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Iola Mustangs (Iola, KS), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Southern Coffey County Titans (LeRoy, KS) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 24. Baxter Springs will attempt to advance on its 16-10 season record. The Titans come into the match with a 10-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Waverly (Waverly, KS).
