The Labette County Grizzlies topped the visiting Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Grizzlies now have a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cherryvale for a non-league test on Saturday, September 24. Labette County will confront a Chargers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over West Elk (Howard, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 3-9.

The Spartans (1-16) will now prepare for their test against Neodesha (Neodesha, KS). The Blue Streaks enter the non-league test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Neodesha was knocked off by Lebo (Lebo, KS), 2-1, in a non-league test.
