Washington High School Volleyball - Davenport over Royal
September 24, 2022: Davenport, WA 99122 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Davenport Gorillas (Davenport, WA) and the visiting Royal Knights (Royal City, WA), saw Davenport's volleyball squad beat Royal by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Davenport upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Gorillas travel to Colfax (Colfax, WA) to play the Bulldogs in a 2B Bi-County bout on Tuesday, September 27. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Colfax won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Liberty (Spangle, WA)
The Knights now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Connell for a 1A SCAC - East bout on Tuesday, September 27. Royal will play a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Brewster (Brewster, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-3.
