September 24, 2022: Alexandria, VA 22310 The Edison Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting George C. Marshall Statesmen to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now have a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Justice for a non-league game on Saturday, September 24. Edison will meet a Wolves team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology (Alexandria, VA). The Wolves record now stands at 9-6.
The Statesmen (13-5) will now prepare for their game against Langley (McLean, VA). The Saxons enter the Liberty game with a 12-0 record. In their last game, Langley nipped Chantilly (Chantilly, VA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
