California High School Volleyball - Mayfield can't hold off Venice

The Gondoliers (28-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA). The Yankees come into the Western challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Hamilton was edged by Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.
Next, the Cubs encounter the South Pasadena Tigers (South Pasadena, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 24. Mayfield will attempt to move on its 15-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 20-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA).
