Pleasant Spartans (Marion, OH) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Spartans battle the River Valley Vikings (Caledonia, OH) in a Mid-Ohio Athletic match, on Tuesday, September 27. Pleasant will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record. The Vikings come into the match with a 9-8 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Buckeye Valley (Delaware, OH).

With the loss, Ridgemont drops to 2-9 on the campaign. The Golden gophers host Elgin (Marion, OH) to battle the Comets in a Northwest Central match on Thursday, September 29.
