September 24, 2024: Spotsylvania, VA 22553 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Courtland Cougars (Spotsylvania, VA) and the visiting Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA), witnessed Courtland's football squad edge Culpeper County by a tally of 22-21.
The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against King George (King George, VA). The Foxes enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, King George got by James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA), 14-12, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Blue Devils battle the Caroline Cavaliers (Milford, VA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 2. Culpeper County will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Cavaliers enter the contest with a 0-3 record after their 35-6 non-league loss to Eastern View (Culpeper, VA).
