September 24, 2024: Kalamazoo, MI 49006 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants (Kalamazoo, MI) and the visiting Portage Northern Huskies (Portage, MI), saw Kalamazoo Central's soccer squad prevail over Portage Northern by a count of 4-0.
The Maroon Giants (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Gull Lake (Richland, MI). The Blue Devils enter the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Gull Lake by St. Joseph (St. Joseph, MI), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Huskies battle the Norrix Knights (Kalamazoo, MI) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 26. Portage Northern will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI).
