September 24, 2024: Harrisonburg, VA 22802 Eastern Mennonite Flames (Harrisonburg, VA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Chatham Hall Turtles (Chatham, VA), 2-0 in a league test.
With the win, Eastern Mennonite advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Flames travel to Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to face the Mavericks in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. The Mavericks go into the test with a record of 0-3. Miller School of Albemarle lost 2-0 in their recent league test against North Cross (Roanoke, VA)
The Turtles now sport a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christian Heritage Academy for a non-league test on Friday, September 27. Chatham Hall will face a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Dayspring Christian Academy (Blacksburg, VA). The Knights record now stands at 7-1.
