September 24, 2024: Shelbyville, KY 40065 The Collins Titans soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds to 1 in the Titans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Titans now hold a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Carroll County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 1. Collins will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 8-5.
With the loss, Newport Central Catholic moves to 4-9 on the year. The Thoroughbreds travel to Calvary Christian (Covington, KY) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 26.
