Minnesota High School Soccer - Grand Rapids knocks off Superior
September 24, 2024: Grand Rapids, MN 55744 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks (Grand Rapids, MN) and the visiting Superior Spartans (Superior, WI), saw Grand Rapids's soccer squad knock off Superior by a count of 4-1.
The Thunderhawks (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Princeton (Princeton, MN). The Tigers enter the Class A Section 7 battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Princeton tipped North Branch (North Branch, MN), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Spartans battle the Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 26. Superior will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 7-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN).
