Indiana High School Volleyball - Covington can't get by South Newton

September 24, 2024: Covington, IN 47932

South Newton Rebels (Kentland, IN) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Covington Trojans (Covington, IN), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, South Newton advances its record to 14-9 on the season. The Rebels host North White (Monon, IN) to face the Vikings in a Midwest Athletic test on Thursday, September 26. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 10-9. North White won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Delphi Community (Delphi, IN)

The Trojans now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fountain Central for a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. Covington will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Crawfordsville (Crawfordsville, IN). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-15.
