September 24, 2024: Hughesville, PA 17737 Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Hughesville Spartans (Hughesville, PA) and the visiting Lewisburg Green Dragons (Lewisburg, PA), observed Hughesville's volleyball team top Lewisburg by a count of 3-1.
The Spartans (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA). The Indians enter the non-league outing with a 2-1 record.
With the loss, Lewisburg drops to 1-9 on the campaign. The Green dragons host Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA) to clash with the Bluejays in a PIAA District IV outing on Thursday, September 26. The Bluejays come into the outing with a record of 0-9. Central Columbia lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Minersville (Minersville, PA)
