Arizona High School Football - Desert Vista tops Westwood
September 24, 2025: Mesa, AZ 85201 The Desert Vista Thunder football squad scored 55 points and limited the host Westwood Warriors to 24 in the Thunder non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Thunder now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host ALA - Queen Creek for a challenge on Wednesday, October 1. Desert Vista will face a Patriots team coming off a 48-32 non-league win over Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ). The Patriots record now stands at 3-1.
The Warriors (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Basha (Chandler, AZ). The Bears enter the challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Basha ran past Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ), 42-14, in a non-league test.
