New York High School Soccer - Le Roy nudges Letchworth
September 24, 2025: Gainesville, NY 14066 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Le Roy Oatkan Knights (Le Roy, NY) and the host Letchworth Legends (Gainesville, NY), saw Le Roy's soccer squad hold off Letchworth by a score of 2-1.
The Oatkan Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Caledonia-Mumford (Caledonia, NY). The Raiders enter the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Caledonia-Mumford was edged by Warsaw (Warsaw, NY), 5-1, in a non-league battle.
In their next game, the Legends meet the Geneseo Blue Devils (Geneseo, NY) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 30. Letchworth will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record.
