The Vertus Warriors got by the host Eastridge Lancers football team by a score of 26-24 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Warriors now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Victor for a non-league test on Monday, September 29.

With the defeat, Eastridge drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Monroe (Rochester, NY) to meet the Red Jackets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 14. The Red Jackets enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
