September 24, 2025: Henderson, NC 27537 The Northern Nash Knights overwhelmed the host Vance County Vipers football squad by a count of 36-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Knights now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to C.B. Aycock for a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. Northern Nash will meet a Golden Falcons squad coming off a 20-6 non-league loss to Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Golden Falcons record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, Vance County moves to 2-3 on the season. The Vipers host Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC) to face the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 2. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Wake Forest won 43-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Hillside (Durham, NC)
