In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Forestview Jaguars soccer squad scored a tight 4-2 victory over the Shelby Golden Lions.

The Jaguars (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC). The Greenwave go into the Big South 5A/6A outing with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Ashbrook edged Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC), 3-1, in a league outing.
