The Independence 76ers volleyball squad (San Jose, CA), was knocked off 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA)

The Trojans (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against King's Academy (Sunnyvale, CA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, King's Academy notched a victory over Pinewood (Los Altos Hills, CA), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the 76ers battle the James Lick Comets (San Jose, CA) in a BVAL - West Valley contest, on Thursday, September 25. Independence will attempt to move on its 2-14 season record. The Comets enter the contest with a 0-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to San Jose (San Jose, CA).
