September 24, 2025: Memphis, TN 38117 In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Memphis East Mustangs volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Overton Wolverines.
With the win, Memphis East advances its record to 5-14 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Hamilton (Memphis, TN) to face the Wildcats in a AA District 16 test on Thursday, September 25. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 0-1.
The Wolverines now sport a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitehaven for a AAA District 16 test on Thursday, September 25. Overton will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Freedom Prep Academy (Memphis, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 4-5.
