With the win, Rogue River improves its record to 1-6 on the season. The Chieftains travel to St. Mary's (Medford, OR) to encounter the Crusaders in a 3A Southern Oregon battle on Thursday, September 25. The Crusaders go into the battle with a record of 7-4. St. Mary's won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR)
Next, the Cougars meet the Chiloquin Panthers/Queens (Chiloquin, OR) in a 1A Mountain Valley challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Prospect will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Panthers/Queens enter the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Tulelake (Tulelake, CA).
