Pennsylvania High School Football - Wilkes-Barre topples Pittston

September 25, 2021: Wilkes-Barre, PA

The Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA) football defeated the visiting Pittston Patriots (Pittston, PA), 35-21 in Saturday's league bout.

In their next game, the face the Wyoming Valley West Spartans (Plymouth, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 6A/5A bout, on Friday, October 1. Wilkes-Barre will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 20-15 non-league win over Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA).

The Patriots (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA). The Trojans enter the non-league bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Greater Nanticoke Area defeated Susquehanna (Susquehanna, PA), 7-6, in a non-league bout.
