September 25, 2021: Carmel, CA 93922 The Carmel Padres volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Scotts Valley Falcons to 0 in the Padres non-league victory on Saturday.
The Padres now have a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alisal for a Pacific Coast - Mission game on Tuesday, September 28. Carmel will confront a Trojans team coming off a 3-2 league win over Everett Alvarez (Salinas, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 7-4.
The Falcons (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA). The Cardinals enter the Santa Cruz Coast game with a 12-2 record. In their last game, Santa Cruz gained a win over San Lorenzo Valley (Felton, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
