North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Elgin Comets (Marion, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 25. North Union will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Comets come into the match with a 0-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Ridgedale (Morral, OH).

With the loss, Ridgemont drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Golden gophers host Pleasant (Marion, OH) to battle the Spartans in a non-league match on Saturday, September 25.
