Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Garden Spot held off by Lancaster Catholic
September 25, 2023: Lancaster, PA 17601 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Lancaster Catholic Crusaders (Lancaster, PA) and the visiting Garden Spot Spartans (New Holland, PA), saw Lancaster Catholic's soccer squad get by Garden Spot by a margin of 2-1.
The Crusaders now sport a 10-0 record. They play next when they travel to Northern Lebanon for a Lancaster - Lebanon Section 4 test on Wednesday, September 27. Lancaster Catholic will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Pequea Valley (Kinzers, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, Garden Spot drops to 0-8 on the season. The Spartans host Cedar Crest (Lebanon, PA) to meet the Falcons in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 26. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 2-8. Cedar Crest lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Manheim Central (Manheim, PA)
