Indiana High School Volleyball - Benton Central over South Newton

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Benton Central Bison (Oxford, IN) and the visiting South Newton Rebels (Kentland, IN), saw Benton Central's volleyball squad beat South Newton by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Benton Central upgrades its record to 23-0 on the year. The Bison travel to McCutcheon (Lafayette, IN) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 28. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 17-7. McCutcheon lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Avon (Avon, IN)

The Rebels now own a 12-14 record. They play next when they host Illiana Christian for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 26. South Newton will play a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Wheeler (Valparaiso, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 15-8.
