Virginia High School Volleyball - Hanover over Matoaca
September 25, 2023: Chesterfield, VA 23838 Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA) backers left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Hawks battle the Patrick Henry Patriots (Ashland, VA) in a Capital match, on Tuesday, September 26. Hanover will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record. The Patriots come into the match with a 5-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Henrico (Richmond, VA).
With the loss, Matoaca drops to 5-6 on the campaign. The Warriors host Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA) to battle the Raiders in a non-league match on Wednesday, September 27. The Raiders come into the match with a record of 11-4. Atlee won 3-0 in their recent league match against Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA)
