September 25, 2024: Chesapeake, VA 23323 In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Lakeland Cavaliers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Deep Creek Hornets.
The Cavaliers (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin (Franklin, VA). The Broncos come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Franklin beat Greensville County (Emporia, VA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hornets meet the Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 2. Deep Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 2-0 non-league win over King's Fork (Suffolk, VA).
