Illinois High School Volleyball - Hansberry over Baker
September 25, 2024: Chicago, IL 60620 Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Hansberry Bengals (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Baker Bobcats (Chicago, IL), observed Hansberry's volleyball team top Baker by a tally of 2-0.
The Bengals (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Rauner (Chicago, IL). The Wildcats enter the Noble Street contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Rauner was beaten by Bulls College Prep (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Bobcats meet the Bulls College Prep Bulls (Chicago, IL) in a Noble Street contest, on Monday, September 30. Baker will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Bulls enter the contest with a 5-5 record after their 2-0 league win over Rowe-Clark (Chicago, IL).
Match Summary
The Match was Hansberry College Preps Senior Night and the room was filled with love. Between last night being the Senior Night as well as fans coming to support the Noble League Blue Conference undefeated #1 team, Hansberry fans and family and in full force. This has been a very exciting run for the team, this is Head Coach Monica Clay's first year coaching the Girls Varsity team and it has been nothing short of amazing. These girls have been working extremely hard and dedicated for me. All 6 senior players started and ended the match on their senior night extremely proud. Mission accomplished.
