September 25, 2024: Pompton Plains, NJ 07444 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the J.P. Stevens Hawks (Edison, NJ) and the host Pequannock Golden Panthers (Pompton Plains, NJ), observed J.P. Stevens's volleyball team top Pequannock by a count of 2-0.
The Hawks (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Colonia (Colonia, NJ). The Patriots enter the Greater Middlesex - Red contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Colonia was knocked off by Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ), 2-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Golden Panthers battle the Madison Dodgers (Madison, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 26. Pequannock will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Dodgers come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ).
