September 25, 2024: Holmdel, NJ 07733 Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ) and the visiting Liberty Lions (Jackson, NJ), observed St. John-Vianney's volleyball team top Liberty by a count of 2-0.
The Lancers (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Rumson-Fair Haven (Rumson, NJ). The Bulldogs enter the Shore B - North contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Rumson-Fair Haven was knocked off by Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ), 2-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Lions battle the Colts Neck Cougars (Colts Neck, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 26. Liberty will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 6-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ).
