September 25, 2024: Newark, NJ 07107 Morris County Tech Devils (Denville, NJ) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Payne Tech Lions (Newark, NJ), 2-1 in a league test.
With the win, Morris County Tech advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Devils travel to Academy of St. Elizabeth (Convent Station, NJ) to face the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 5-4. Academy of St. Elizabeth won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Morris Hills (Rockaway, NJ)
The Lions now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bloomfield for a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. Payne Tech will face a Bengals squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Belleville (Belleville, NJ). The Bengals record now stands at 5-3.
