The Arroyo Valley Hawks were winner over the host Pomona Red Devils football squad by a margin of 40-14 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Hawks now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bloomington for a Skyline outing on Friday, October 3. Arroyo Valley will clash with a Bruins squad coming off a 31-6 non-league loss to Rim of the World (Lake Arrowhead, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Pomona drops to 0-5 on the year. The Red devils travel to Wilson (Hacienda Heights, CA) to face the Wildcats in a Montview game on Friday, October 3. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 1-4. Wilson lost 53-17 in their recent non-league game against Cerritos (Cerritos, CA)
