In Thursday's league match, the host Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels football squad scored a good 33-20 triumph over the Rush City Tigers.

In their next game, the Rebels play the Crosby-Ironton Rangers (Crosby, MN) in a Northeast - Blue challenge, on Friday, October 3. Moose Lake/Willow River will attempt to upgrade on its 5-0 season record. The Rangers come into the test with a 2-3 record after their 44-21 league win over Hinckley-Finlayson (Hinckley, MN).
