Nazareth Area Blue Eagles (Nazareth, PA) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Pleasant Valley Bears (Brodheadsville, PA), 43-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Nazareth Area advances its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Blue Eagles host Liberty (Bethlehem, PA) to confront the Hurricanes in a Eastern Pennsylvania - Northampton match on Friday, October 3. The Hurricanes come into the match with a record of 5-1. Liberty won 47-0 in their recent league match against East Stroudsburg North (Dingmans Ferry, PA)
