September 25, 2025: Akron, OH 44306 Archbishop Hoban Knights (Akron, OH) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Buchtel Griffins (Akron, OH), 28-20 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Archbishop Hoban improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) to meet the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 2-3. Walsh Jesuit won 42-8 in their recent non-league test against Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH)
With the defeat, Buchtel drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Copley (Copley, OH) to meet the Indians in a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. The Indians go into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Copley lost 14-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Aurora (Aurora, OH)
