September 25, 2025: Los Lunas, NM 87031 Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors enter the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Sandia was beaten by Cibola (Albuquerque, NM), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Jaguars meet the Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Valencia will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Huskies go into the test with a 7-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
