September 25, 2025: Covington, VA 24426 In Thursday's non-league match, the host Alleghany Cougars football squad scored a close 8-6 triumph over the Waynesboro Little Giants.
The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA). The Cougars come into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Stuarts Draft tipped Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA), 34-13, in a non-league match.
