September 25, 2025: Clayton, NC 27520 South Wake Lions (Apex, NC) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team nip the host American Leadership Academy-Johnston Patriots (Clayton, NC), 16-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, South Wake advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Lions travel to High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC) to confront the Cougars in a non-league match on Thursday, October 2. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 3-0. High Point Christian Academy won 47-0 in their recent non-league match against Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC)
