September 25, 2025: Ringgold, VA 24586 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Appomattox County Raiders football squad scored a good 40-27 victory over the Dan River Wildcats.
The Raiders (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Cavaliers enter the match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Chatham was outscored by Patrick County (Stuart, VA), 53-30, in a non-league match.
The Wildcats now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Altavista for a non-league match on Thursday, October 2. Dan River will confront a Colonels squad coming off a 51-0 non-league win over Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 2-1.
