Michigan High School Football - Forest Hills Northern thwarted by Muskegon
September 25, 2025: Muskegon, MI 49441 Muskegon Big Reds (Muskegon, MI) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting Forest Hills Northern Huskies (Grand Rapids, MI), 52-35 in a non-league match.
The Big Reds (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Mona Shores (Norton Shores, MI). The Sailors come into the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Mona Shores went down by Byron Center (Byron Center, MI), 27-16, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Huskies meet the Reeths-Puffer Rockets (Muskegon, MI) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 2. Forest Hills Northern will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Rockets go into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 13-0 non-league win over Union (Grand Rapids, MI).
