September 25, 2025: Lancaster, KY 40444 In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Garrard County Golden Lions soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Frankfort Christian Academy Royals.
The Golden Lions (5-7) will now prepare for their test against East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Jaguars come into the non-league test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, East Jessamine by Sayre (Lexington, KY), 7-1, in a non-league test.
The Royals now have a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity Christian Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Frankfort Christian Academy will clash with a Titans team coming off a 5-3 league loss to East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Titans record now stands at 1-10.
