Oregon High School Soccer - Sunset nudged by Franklin
September 25, 2025: Portland, OR 97206 Franklin Quakers (Portland, OR) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Sunset Apollos (Portland, OR), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Franklin moves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Quakers travel to Ida B. Wells (Portland, OR) to clash with the Guardians in a 6A Portland Interscholastic test on Tuesday, September 30. The Guardians come into the test with a record of 6-1. Ida B. Wells 2-2 in their recent non-league test against Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR)
The Apollos now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Aloha for a 6A Metro game on Thursday, October 2. Sunset will face a Warriors team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Gresham (Gresham, OR). The Warriors record now stands at 0-7.
