North Carolina High School Soccer - West Davidson knocks off North Stokes
September 25, 2025: Lexington, NC 27295 West Davidson Dragons (Lexington, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC), 6-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, West Davidson moves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Thomasville (Thomasville, NC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Central Carolina 3A test on Monday, September 29. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 5-2. Thomasville won 4-3 in their recent league outing against Wheatmore (Trinity, NC)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Salem Christian School Defenders (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 29. North Stokes will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Defenders go into the outing with a 5-5 record after their 4-0 league win over North Hills Christian (Salisbury, NC).
