Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Amsterdam Rams (Amsterdam, NY) and the visiting Scotia-Glenville Tartans (Scotia, NY), observed Amsterdam's volleyball team top Scotia-Glenville by a count of 3-1.

The Rams (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY). The Blackbirds go into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Voorheesville achieved victory over Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (Ravena, NY), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Tartans now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mekeel Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 27. Scotia-Glenville will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Galway (Galway, NY). The Lions record now stands at 5-1.
