September 25, 2025: Denham Springs, LA 70726 Denham Springs Yellowjackets (Denham Springs, LA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Baton Rouge Bulldogs (Baton Rouge, LA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Yellowjackets (8-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Dutchtown (Geismar, LA). The Griffins come into the Division I District 5 challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Dutchtown edged Central (Baton Rouge, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Baton Rouge will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA).
